*TOP QUALITY* Spinosaurus Tooth Dinosaur Fossil, Morocco

$550.00

Description

Up for sale is a magnificent Spinosaurus tooth in pristine condition. This is one of the BEST fossilised teeth I have ever seen. The enamel has almost no damage but there seems to be a little bit of repair done. That is normal as most Spinosaurus teeth are broken during excavation and need to be put back together.  There is no doubt that this beautiful fossil is one of a kind and would make a fantastic addition to a fossil collection or a wonderful and unique gift. It also comes with a free riker display box.

This fossil was measured with a caliper.

Species: Spinosaurus aegyptiacus

Length: 3.873” (98.37mm)

Weight: 2.506 oz. (71.02 grams)

Spinosaurus roamed the earth during the lower Albian to lower Cenomanian stages of the Cretaceous Period. It was larger than Tyrannosaurus Rex and thought to be the largest predator to every walk the Earth. Its head is very crocodilian-like, with a massive long snout, full of sharp, fish-piercing teeth. Spinosaurus is the first dinosaur known to have been adapted to an aquatic lifestyle and by far is one of the oddest Dinosaurs ever discovered.
