Superior Red Abelisaurid Tooth, Morocco

$200.00

Description

For sale is a very fine example of a Moroccan raptor tooth, belonging to the Abelisauridae family. The enamel is in excellent condition; the range of reddish hues are stunning, and the serrations have only minimal erosion. There is a tiny section of the tip missing; due to the color and texture of the fracture, we can conclude it happened a very long time ago - probably while in the the mouth of the dinosaur or shortly after it fell out. The serrations are very well define, an uncommon attribute for Kem Kem raptor teeth. With no restorations or repairs, this specimen would make a magnificent addition to a collection and it comes with a free riker display box.
